St. Alphonsus Cares is an Outreach Program offered by St. Alphonsus Parish serving Downtown Windsor
We offer free programs and events to anyone and everyone who lives in Downtown Windsor. Supported by volunteers, we aim to partner with others in the city to bring a variety of community building programs that help to make Downtown Windsor more compassionate.
Our Core Values Are:

- St. Alphonsus Cares is free to the public.
- St. Alphonsus Cares creates programs/events based on the needs of the community.
- St. Alphonsus Cares is a space where people are invited to stay and belong, and does not exist solely to connect people to other services.

- St. Alphonsus Cares is the Outreach Program of St. Alphonsus Parish, and therefore, all programs and events are suitable for Catholics, but not solely “faith-based” and are open to everyone.

Community Meal
Join us for our weekly Community Meal every Friday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm in the St. Alphonsus Parish Hall.
A time for good food and fellowship!
Holy Hub Internet Cafe
Come by on Tuesday between 1:00pm and 3:00pm to use a Chromebook and surf the net, do research, play a game… whatever! Refreshments available.
Weekend Art Show in May
Do you have a desire to create? Whichever medium you choose we want to showcase your art! St. Alphonsus Cares will be hosting a weekend Gallery Showing May 4/5. Feel free to contact Sr. Connie to let her know if you will have a piece to show. If you need supplies to complete your creation just let us know and we will be happy to provide!
Bingo and Games!
Just for Fun Bingo is Back! Join us Mondays from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
Stay after from 2:00pm to 3:00pm if you want to just play some games… Yardzee, Uno, Scrabble, etc…
Tax Help!
Our Tax program is underway… If your income was under $35000 in 2023 and you have all your income slips – T5007, T4, T4A, T4A(P), T4A (OAS), T4E, T5 and rent or property receipts as well as if you received CERB or COVID $$ you must include t4A or T4E.
